Silver
Seven tracks across the full disco spectrum — classic 70s Studio 54 warmth, nu-disco electronic edge, and Afro-disco rhythmic swagger. Falsetto vocal chops woven throughout. The most joyful EP in the Hustle Beats catalogue.
The concept
SILVER is the Hustle Beats disco EP. Seven instrumentals spanning the full disco tradition — the lush orchestral warmth of classic 70s Studio 54, the electronic shimmer of nu-disco, and the irresistible African-rhythmic energy of Afro-disco. Falsetto vocal chops and breathy ad-libs appear throughout as texture — the human voice as a melodic instrument, never singing words, always singing feeling.
GREASE covers funk and soul. SILVER covers the moment funk stepped onto the dancefloor, put on a string arrangement, added a four-on-the-floor kick, and never looked back. The most joyful, most physical, most purely celebratory EP in the catalogue.
