Hustle Beats started as a label and mixtape brand. Da-coz produced all 18 tracks on Borderline Volume 2, a mixcd with artists from Toronto, Australia, the USA and the UK, mixed by VJ K.M.X.E of TPS Entertainment.

The mixtape archive has Borderline, Beyond Borderz and The Hustle Bunch, with Da-coz beats behind artists from across Toronto, the UK, the USA and Australia.

Today it is an instrumental catalogue: albums and EPs across trap, dub, disco, desi, afro, funk and more. Each release starts with a written production guide covering the concept, tempo, key and sound palette before a note is generated.

How the music is made

The albums and EPs in the music catalogue are created with AI tools (Suno, on a paid plan) and directed by a human. Da-coz writes the brief, picks and edits the takes, and shapes each release. They are disclosed as AI-assisted on streaming platforms and on this site.

The archive is different. The mixtapes and beat tapes there were made by hand, long before AI tools, and are not AI-assisted.
